Zino Pece makes paintings of an experimental and contemporary nature. For almost two decades, he has been exploring and developing techniques with new paints and materials. With a predominant use of fluid acrylics, he aims to achieve an ethereal quality to the work by using less traditional colours such as metallic and iridescent hues along with various gels, mediums and surfaces. Although abstract, these works are often landscape analogous. Pece is greatly influenced by nature, his faith and life experiences. He has widely exhibited throughout the Uk, including the Glynn Vivian Museum in Swansea and at MOMA Wales. His paintings are held in private collections throughout Britain and abroad.
