Based in Three Crosses, Gower, Blae makes intricate textural jewellery from her home studio.
Her designs are lead by observing and recreating the textures and organic details along the local coastline, influenced by the connection she feels to its wild, ever changing seascape. Crafted from recycled silver and gold using traditional goldsmithing techniques, sand casting, water casting and the ancient art of lost wax casting, each unique piece evokes an essence of the coast and treasures swept in by the tide.

Blae enjoyed a successful career in set and prop design for theatre, tv and film (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sherlock) before becoming a mother of three. Re-training as a jeweller has been the most rewarding experience, honing her skills to create beautiful jewellery which holds meaning, value and brings happiness for years to come.
