Intuitively capturing my sense of colour, light & space from my surroundings, into abstract and semi-abstract compositions, guided by a freedom and a loose intention that allows for the unexpected.

In the summer months, I love the opportunity to work on a large scale, allowing the elements to become collaborators as I paint outdoors. Conversely, the intimacy of smaller works grants me the freedom to explore new techniques and ideas quickly and intuitively. Inspired by everyday life — the mountains, sea, flora and found patterns all serve as catalysts for my paintings.

Since relocating to Wales, I have enjoyed discovering the beauty of the countryside and seascape admiring its transformation through the seasons. This environment and the stories it has to tell, fuels my artistic journey with a sense of exploration and connection.
