Jo Frost is a contemporary coastal artist based in Mumbles on the Gower Peninsula. Working primarily in expressive mixed media, her paintings are inspired by the sea, the shoreline and the ever-changing light across Gower’s wild landscapes. From her working studio and gallery on Newton Road, Jo creates atmospheric pieces that aim to capture the movement, mood and energy of the coast. Her work often blends texture, colour and layered mark-making to evoke a sense of place and connection with the natural environment. Alongside original paintings, Jo also undertakes bespoke commissions, creating unique artworks that reflect the personal stories and spaces of her collectors.
