Sara studied Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art and specialises in painting in oils, acrylic or watercolour on canvas and handmade paper, as well painting with dyna-flow dyes on silk. Her contemporary paintings depict the changing light through the seasons, evoking mood and a sense of place within her favourite subject matter of seascapes, especially those on Gower. Butterflies and shells, also a constant fascination, feature too in Sara’s paintings and drawings. She enjoys both plein air and studio painting. Sara has exhibited her paintings at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, in other UK galleries and her work is also in many private collections. A selection of her evocative and colourful paintings will be on display and available to purchase. These include her new Gower paintings of Mumbles Lighthouse and Three Cliff’s Bay. Sara will be on hand to welcome visitors and discuss her work on display.
